The Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys combining tech skills with real-world problem-solving. As a Project Technician, you'll play a key role in building and supporting custom environments that drive secure, efficient access at global events.

  • Configure proprietary software to build custom event portals and access control setups
  • Support clients on-site and remotely with both hardware and software solutions
  • Respond to and implement bespoke client requests and configurations
  • Maintain project records and workflows using Jira
  • Travel internationally to deliver on-site support and training during live events

 

Your Experience

This role suits someone with a passion for technology and events, who’s confident working directly with clients and thrives in fast-changing environments. A blend of technical ability, customer service, and adaptability is key.

  • Proficiency in HTML & CSS (in a professional or demonstrable personal capacity)
  • Experience working in a client-facing or customer service environment
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools and ideally Jira
  • Exposure to JavaScript, jQuery, React, or MySQL is a plus
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site in the UK and abroad, sometimes at short notice
