This is the exception. Our client is a global insurance leader that has committed to a Remote-First model and a modern Azure-native ecosystem.

They are currently rebuilding their global data warehouse platform from the ground up. As a Senior Engineer, you aren't just a "cog in the machine"—you are the architect of the next phase of their data strategy.

The Mission

As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer , you will lead the evolution of a global data platform. This is a hands-on role where you remain close to the code while steering the technical direction.

Design & Build: Lead the development of a global DW supporting enterprise-wide reporting.
Architectural Leadership: Own the logical and physical data models.
Raise the Bar: Drive engineering excellence across code reviews, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate: Work in an agile, small-team environment where your voice is heard in roadmap planning.

Your Profile

You are a senior, hands-on engineer who thrives in cloud-first environments and enjoys "wearing many hats."

Technical Essentials:

Azure Expert: Deep experience with Azure SQL DB, Data Factory, and Functions/Logic Apps.
Modelling Pro: Advanced expertise in Dimensional Data Modelling .
DevOps Mindset: You treat infrastructure as code (Terraform/Bicep) and live by CI/CD principles.
Visualization: Solid understanding of Power BI integration.

Bonus Points:

Experience within the Insurance or Reinsurance sectors.
Experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
