We

GREENIFY

KDR Talent Solutions is committed to making a positive impact on the environment. We have partnered with WeGreenify to ensure that our team’s carbon footprint is offset by investing in programmes that impact the global climate in a positive way.

The footprint of the average office worker has been calculated to require per year: 8 trees to be planted, recover and repurpose 34kg of plastic waste and offset 12.7 tonnes of CO2 emissions. We love this project because we know we are helping out team to be carbon neutral during their working day and we can also help clients achieve this by offsetting any placements they make with us. Please do get in touch about this important aspect of the recruitment process and feel good about the positive impact you are making on the environment.

The Rimba Reya Project

This project, based in Borneo is the largest carbon offset initiative in the world. The area has been targeted by palm oil growers and this is affecting the precious peatland forest environment. Through the project, the area is now thoroughly protected via government legislation and the local communities that call it home. Its amazing biodiverse ecosystem supports all the living creatures that inhabit it, including the endangered Borneo Organgutans, so humans and nature are relearning the art of living closely together. The Yucatan Project

The Yucatan project in Mexico is a reforestation project run by plant for the planet. Entire areas of grasslands that have been completely deforested are being once again planted with trees. Areas of forest that been degraded because their valuable trees have been plundered for their high value are also being cared for and repopulated. All trees planted are indigenous to ensure the environment is brought back to its original state. The Yucatan was chosen because the trees grow quickly in this part of the world, which helps to capture and bind carbon faster than would happen in other more temperate regions.

The Laut Yang Tenang Project

Based in Indonesia, this project targets the huge amounts of plastic that roll up on the Indonesian coastline of West Java. The project funds a network of waste banks, collection services and informal waste workers that intercept the particularly harmful multi-layered plastic waste before it reaches the wider oceans. The waste is sent for processing in kilns that convert the MLP into an alternative fuel source, reducing the need to burn wood or other fossil fuels and leaving zero residue. New Paragraph

WALK TALK ACTION

Walk Talk Action is our chosen charity. Their mission, as a nonprofit organisation, is to help those with depression (including postnatal depression), anxiety, midlife crisis, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), isolation/loneliness and general health and well-being. They work with Veterans to help them adjust to civilian life. As a team we raise money and use our charity days to go and help Teri and the team out where we can.
