Recruitment Team Leader

Return to Meet The Team
Having started as a resource consultant in 2015 I have worked my way up to a Recruitment Team Leader at KDR Recruitment. Before joining KDR I was a lawyer specialising in personal injury managing a small team of Paralegals. I left the legal industry as I wanted to utilise my personal skills while working in a target driven environment, after exploring various opportunities and companies I joined KDR.

The thing I enjoy the most about this role at KDR is having the opportunity to mentor and develop my team. I now feel that I get more satisfaction from seeing someone in my team success than if I do. I really enjoy working on Data Engineer and Data Warehousing roles, I like to understand the back-end of platforms and solutions.

A bit more about me

🥃 My favourite drink is an Old Fashioned – a dram of Dalmore 12-Year-Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, squeeze of orange, brown sugar, dash of bitters and the zest of an orange – you’re welcome, you can thank me later.

🎥 My favourite film is Star Wars – I named my son Kylo, after a Star Wars character

🎸 My favourite band is… Bring Me the Horizon, Metallica, Asking Alexandria, Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold and The Architects – I refuse to pick one, if you are into rock or metal you should give them all a listen!

👀 My nickname is Thacker

🎇 I am an avid Cigar smoker and enthusiast
